Raquel Furquim is an eternal apprentice and loves to share what she knows. She is a physical therapist, massage therapist, acupuncturist, businesswoman, teacher, circus acrobat, performer, acroyogi. She loves the human body and movement in its most diverse expressions. She started dancing as a child and also practiced swimming, soccer, climbing, jiu-jitsu, natural gymnastics, weight lifting, half-marathon, pilates, squash. Raquel had long experience as a pilates teacher. In 2002 she started aerial acrobatics, in 2015 she began acroyoga, gymnastics and handstand training. In 2017 she started her training with Rodrigo Salulima and the Ido Portal method.
Raquel fell in love with the healing arts when she began her journey with massage in 1999. She is a teacher of international schools from Thailand and Japan and teaches various massage techniques in Brazil, among them Thai Yoga Massage, Japanese Reflexology and Ayurvedic massage.
With patience, sensitivity, communication, working trust in self and in the other, her classes are fun, inclusive, focused on safety and encouraging each student to develop their potential.
